Lebanon (Syrian & Palestinian Refugees). Afghanistan
For children living as refugees or who have lived through war, the need for counselling is absolutely critical, yet often overlooked as there are so many more pressing needs such as food or shelter. This regular individual and group therapy will be the platform that enables the children to follow through to a sound education and more stable life insha’Allah.
Support the Africa Muslims Agency Basamat Programme which operates in Lebanon and Afghanistan. The first Basamat Centre was established in the Syrian and Palestinian Refugee Camps In Lebanon. The word “Basamat” means ‘smile’, and the centre aims to provide 400 children together with their mothers / guardians psycho social services support through counselling, education, art and therapy from around the world in the year 2020.
