Across the continent, many people in rural areas walk dozens of kilometers every single day to travel to work, for schooling and for healthcare.
Amongst ourselves, we usually experience cycling as a form of leisure, and forget that it is a fundamental mode of transport for many people the world-over.
This year, we are working to bridge that gap – we are raising funds to sponsor 25 bicycles to people in need, making their daily journey just a little easier.
Our very own Fatima Seedat will be competing in the Cape Argus Cycle Tour to raise funds for this project, along with other humanitarian friends.
Donate R1 or R10 per kilometer they cycle, and help us turn someone’s daily drudge into a joy.
